Welcome to Confluence Enterprises, Inc., a Corporation whose primary mission is investing in the City of Binghamton.
I sincerely believe that as residents, community leaders and public officials, we all need to do our part and work together if we are to reach our common goal of success and prosperity. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work for the City of Binghamton from 2000 through 2005, and as former Deputy Mayor, I worked very closely on a diverse range of public and private economic development initiatives. After leaving City Hall I wanted to find a way to continue contributing to the economic and financial growth of the City of Binghamton, and Confluence Enterprises was born.
The City of Binghamton is centered at the confluence of the Chenango and Susquehanna Rivers, and Confluence seemed an ideal name to title a Corporation whose purpose is to invest in Binghamton.
In the few short months since I formed Confluence Enterprises, more than $800,000 in private funds has been invested in initiatives in Binghamton. The three initiatives to date include the purchase and complete interior/exterior renovation of 45 Court Street, and the purchase of both Flashbackâs and Terra Cotta Catering on State Street downtown.
While Confluence Enterprises has already completed a downtown building renovation project and two business acquisitions, I am in the process of identifying other investment opportunities in Binghamton that will have a lasting impact on our community.
Thank you for visiting this site. I hope you enjoy!
Sincerely,
Richard David
